Child to Adult Ratio

There’s a
spark for
all our youth

Our programs are customized for two main age groups to ensure we continue to deliver relevant material for our students

With a 4:1 child to adult ratio, TechSpark on average provides each student with a more dedicated and curated teaching approach.

Why TechSpark?

  • We use equitable and culturally relevant curriculum design
  • We are passionate and experienced educators
  • We understand and have faced the same barriers girls and youth of colour face when engaging with tech
  • We expose youth to diverse forms of tech programming including virtual reality, mobile app development, coding and robotics
  • We understand that girls and youth of colour need strong emotional and social skills to thrive in today’s society, so we intentionally focus on building these skills in each work shop
  • We evaluate our student’s development and provide additional support where and when it’s needed

I’m really happy with the app my friends and I made in Tech Spark. I’m going to add this project to my high school application portfolio to R.H. King.
